Features

  • Display album art from iTunes.
  • Display and rate songs (and also unrate!)
  • Display the same tracks of the playing album.
  • Optionally fetch album art from Amazon, Google and YesAsia.
  • Save fetched artwork to iTunes directly.
  • Customisable interface.
  • Control iTunes via keyboard shortcuts (space = pause/play, '<' = previous, '>' = next)
  • Jump to iTunes Music Store to find the playing song.

Latest Version (2.9.2)

Figured it out myself, it was a problem of permissions, as I imported my library from a FreeBSD station (a chmod did the trick, and don't forget to restart iTunes after that)

all fine now, thanks for the widget! (would be great if it would add artwork automatically to all songs w/o artwork)

HI- the widget is great, I just have one problem: most art is correct, but if I use the "Save Artwork to iTunes" function, I do not see the cover in CoverFlow. any pointers? thanks!

Really love your Widget. Elegant and functional. AlbumArt and Harmonic is the best widget duo ever. I do have one request. An option for automatic import of artwork into iTunes, without user input.

Another issue, because of the lack of instructions I've just applied one piece of cover art (Santana-Best Of)to 6 other CD's because they are all called "Best of" and it seems you cannot undo this once it is applied. To me this is a serious issue as now I have a whole bunch of mislabelled CD's and I can't even fix the problem. About time for an update?

Pretty decent widget, but why don't you have it search by album title so it doesn't produce so many bad hits? It turns up a lot of false or no hits. Eric Clapton 24 Nights= no hits

This is a fantastic tool, with an enormous range of classical album artwork as well as popular. Although I have not been able to fine everything, it is fun to use. The option of going to Amazon is a nice alternative for those long-ago, deleted classical albums. Congratulations.

Best itunes ablum art grabber there is, hands down. Works great. I am on Leopard.
My only wish is that it applied missing artwork automatically, having to do it manually is a little bit of a pain, but still the best free option out there. XOXOXOXO

This widget works really well. It is correct about 75% of the time. If you are looking for a single artists album artwork it is fantastic.

The only hang up is a compilation disk. The widget needs a little work in that department. Pretty much all compilation disks I have I needed to add the artwork manually. Not really a big deal, but that is one of the only places that it needs improvement on. It seems to look by artist on a compilation instead of album only. It would be nice to select an option for compilation or something like that.

Overall a great tool to have it has really helped me fill in the gaps that the itunes store couldn't find. Keep up the great work.

Best. Widget. Ever. Fantastic work! So useful (and no need for an iTunes store account - great). I'm using it with OS X 10.5.1 and iTunes 7.5(19). My collection suddenly looks a whole lot more interesting. Found it at the Apple site in the top 50 widgets (version 2.12, just FYI).

Great widget!
Just had to learn, how to use it: play a song, and then the widget tries to get the cover. Is there a way to get it for non-playing songs?
Strange: the question for updating a huge number of songs (190, 242,..), while there are only a few (16, 18,..)

The show album tracks feature doesn't appear to be working. I'm using 10.4.10. Other than that, works fine. Only other feature that would be a great addition would be a choice between the various pics that may be available on amazon, similar to Amazon Album Art widget.
