Here are patches to various open source projects that I have written but not included for one reason or another:
This patch was submitted to the mailing list but was not commented on maybe because there isn't any urgency to move to new-style objects for omniORBpy or maybe it might break support for oldedr versions of Python.
Since Python 2.3, Python Thread objects are now new-style objects (eg. they inherit from Object), and therefore omniORBpy isn't able to pass them through CORBA. This patch rearranges the way omniORBpy does parameter storage so that it works for both new style and old style objects.
This patch has been integrated into the omniORB packages that I maintain for Gentoo Linux.
To allow ns-2 to compile on Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), you will need the following patches from this post.
